About Us

Since 1975, the Solar Market have been designing and installing renewable energy systems for a wide range of applications. They offer renewable energy technology that is both state of the art and dependable. The experienced product team constantly surveys energy products available on the market and use only the most reliable, cost effective technologies, incorporating them into renewable energy solutions that easily integrate into your home or business.

At Solar Market, they believe that renewable energy should be easy to use. Each of the products sold is designed to be simple to operate and maintain. Their professional staff manages all the details of installation, and then checks in with customers afterwards to make sure they understand and are comfortable with their system.

Solar Market offers pre-engineered systems to provide clean energy for a wide range of applications. For large or small projects the experienced engineering staff can custom design a solution to fit your needs.

Above all, Solar Market is committed to providing practical and reliable renewable energy that is appropriate to customers' goals and resources.

At Solar Market, they believe that business should add value to the environment and society as well as the economy. Their company value statement is built upon this idea, as is their logo--the sides of the triangle represent the balance of Nature, Humanity, and Technology.

Products/Services Provided

Solar Market photovoltaic systems are designed for flexibility and ease of installation. Professional installers are trained specifically for these systems so they can be sure our products are going to be correctly installed to ensure years of trouble-free operation.

  • Grid-Connected: Electric lines are connected to your property. Now that "net metering" is permitted throughout most of the country, you can become a green power producer by connecting a solar power system to your existing electrical service. The solar panels provide power to your house, reducing the amount of electricity you buy from the power company (and traditional sources of generation such as coal, nuclear, and natural gas plants). Any excess electricity is fed back into the utility, turning the electric meter backwards for a credit.
  • Off-Grid: Building is a mile or more from an electrical line. For remote power needs when a utility connection is not available, off-grid systems provide reliable power for whole buildings or a few critical loads. Photovoltaic panels provide power during the day, charging a battery bank for use at night.
  • Solar Hot Water: The best application for solar thermal technology is for domestic hot water heating, because during the long hot days of summer, DHW is the only thing you want to heat! Solar Market has pre-engineered solar hot water systems in three sizes: 16 tubes, 24 tubes, and 32 tubes. These systems can supply up to 65% of the average annual domestic hot water needs for 2 to 5 people.
