About Us
REgrid Power was founded in 2002 by Tom McCalmont and Darlene McCalmont with a passion for great customer service and clean solar power. As word has spread about REgrid Power's high quality installations and delighted customers, the Company has experienced remarkable growth and is now one of California's largest solar companies.
REgrid Power is the first solar company in California to earn both the distinctive Diamond Certified mark of quality contractors and the industry's respected NABCEP certification of PV installers (five engineers on staff have earned the credential, including Tom McCalmont as a charter certificant and Darlene McCalmont, the first woman certificant in California).
As REgrid Power's reputation has spread, they have expanded from our original office in Campbell, California to additional offices in Fresno (2005) and Richmond (2006).
The adoption and use of solar electric systems is increasing at every level – residential, commercial, and non-profit.
