Dewaine Dennis, Marco Suarez, and Carlos Vega, the three owners, have decades of relevant experience in the solar, electrical, and roofing trades. Dewaine’s background includes a degree in physics and 25 years experience in solar sales, consulting, system design, and installation. Unique to solar installation companies, Marco Suarez has more than 20 years in the roofing business and also has a C-39 roofing license. Carlos Vega holds a C-10 electrical license and specializes in large commercial system design and engineering.

Advanced Solar Electric does not utilize subcontractors and 90% of ASE installers are still with the company, 10 years later. ASE has been top rated for solar electric systems by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and is so respected in the PV industry that the CEC filmed ASE installing a job and used this instruction video to show how to properly install a solar electric system on their web site.
